The project focused on designing a refreshing alternative to traditional freelancing platforms like Upwork and Fiverr which are often saturated, outdated, and impersonal. This new platform is built specifically for creative professionals, especially Gen Z designers, enabling them to discover freelance gigs aligned with their skills, style, and vibe.The platform embraces a quirky, poppy, and sleek aesthetic reflecting the boldness, individuality, and visual language Gen Z thrives on. The experience is crafted not just to function well, but to inspire creativity at every interaction.

Challenges

Existing platforms feel outdated, cluttered, and competitive in ways that don’t support creative individuality.

Designers often apply blindly without knowing if their style matches the client’s expectations.

Onboarding feels transactional rather than aspirational especially for younger creatives.

No clear stage-wise process to guide freelancers through selection and onboarding.

Goals

Create a visually inspiring interface that resonates with Gen Z designers.

Build a stage-wise selection flow that sets expectations clearly and motivates applicants.

Simplify job discovery by letting users filter and apply based on style compatibility and budget.

Ensure transparency with each project’s duration, compensation, and design style fit.

Solutions

We created a mobile-first experience that makes freelance discovery feel exciting and personalized. Each project is represented as a vibrant card with clear stages (Application Review → Portfolio Interview → Test Task → Offer), giving users a sense of progression and transparency.

By focusing on visual compatibility and curated workflows, the platform ensures designers apply only to gigs where their style fits improving the experience for both freelancers and clients.

The result is a freelance platform that doesn't just support work it celebrates creativity, motivates action, and makes gig discovery feel like an extension of a designer's lifestyle.
